o/c problem

ok when i start to ajust my settings in bios to up the cpu mhz when i save the settings it statrs to boot again but the screan is blank and my cd drives go nuts the lil light are flashing then i have to cut the power and pull the batt for some reason i dont have jumper pins on my mb but whats is making this happen

also the temp drops rapidly on the cpu when i have the blank screen

Your just going to fast and to high at one time with not enough adjustments. Maybe not enough voltage or Just trying to overclock to high at one time.. Overclocking takes time Small adjustments at a time.. Start of with 5Mhz and work your way down to fine adjustments of 1mhz.. With a small Voltage adj every 10Mhz of the fsb or every .5 of a multi..
