Well I am almost finished with my testing on the DFI mobos I have. narrowing down the choices I have for the best performing parts. Here is a peak at my 3500 (90nm) running with a small overclock.....

This is using my OCZ pc4200 EL Plat with 2.7 volts on it. Vcore is 1.64

I'm guessing the ram is 1:1, what timings?

Yep the ram is 1:1

2.5-3-7-4 for the basic timing

but if ya want them all (in order of A64 Tweaker)

2.5-7-15-4-3-7-3-2-2-3

slick, what sort of bandwidth is that getting you? ought be 8800mb/s or thereabouts right?

Also how far you getting your 6800 Ultras? I'm remebering that you do have a pair right?

the most I got so far on the bandwidth is a little over 8900. I have seen a couple of people getting over 9K, but they are frosty, I am just H2O.

I have my 6800Ultras, but these PCI-x cards don't OC like their AGP bothers did. I am still working on the OC for them. Right now I am concentrating on getting the mobo, cpu and mem. all OC'ed n Stable. Then the vid will be ezer to handle.

It is looking like I will either use the 4200 at 310x9 (rock stable) or tweak the 315x9 some more to get prime stable for a min of 8 hours.

or I will drop the high HTT and go to 255-260 x 11 with my OCZ VX. I had is stable @ 255 with 2-2-5-2 (3.5vdimm) almost had 260 stable, needs some TLC to get it. I actually get way better scores going this way. Having tight mem timings and big Mhz beats the snot out of high HTT and loose timings......were looking at 3K difference on 3dmarks01 and 4k on aquamarks

Plus running 260htt is ezer on the rig than running 315htt and alot ezer to keep stable...

For others looking to get high OCs, you need to get a proc with some good multi. the 3500 gives ya the 11x, and then you have the choice to go either route, depending on what ram you have. If you go with the 3000, you only get the 9x. That means you need some good tccd to get any kind of high OC. At a min, I would get the 3200. 10x is good with just about any decent ram. I haven't had to add much vcore to get stable, the most has been 1.64. So even good air cooling will net some good OCs

Pics of my gear and rig are on the way. Right now this is just set up on my test platform here at work. (yea, I get to OC at work!!). I am still waitin on my custom case. It was delayed, so it will be a long 10 days until I get to stuff it all in. But Once I do, pics will be posted. I got my hands on some of that Corsair with the big a$$ led displays (buddy of mine bought it) so I will run it thru the rig and see what it is really capable of. If I had more time I would be postin more, but I really do have to work too..... can't be OC'in all day long.

I am runnin a single DDC pump on a black Ice pro to cool the test platform, but in my case I will have a triple rad, so my temps will come down quite abit.

I will have a 3000 winnie anyday now to play with, I hope to get the same (or better) OC you have there!

u need toraise teh FSB to match your same speed as the cpu to get the best scores in d3mark.
