Default My clocks - A64 3500 / kingston hyperX ddr400

specs are in pics...

Ive been testing stability with F@H....

Memtest 86 shows no errors after just 2 passes...

still goin up, but i was excited to get here... considering ive never really overclocked before..

anybody with a similar setup?
Heatsink is zalman cnps7000A-AlCu
(wish I wouldve got the all Cu)
temps are under full load via F@H

Edit: I forgot to mention that I have my XFX GF 6800 GT 256mb GDDR3 at 402/1100
As soon as i get my NV5 I will be able to take that up too...

actually is 2:1 230Mhz CPU @ 2:1 = DDR460

I was really suprised I was able to run the ram at CAS 2.5. I had set it to 3 originally, but then I wanted to see if it would run... yay...

My PSU is an Antec true 480 that doesnt seem too true...
I have had no stability issues as of yet...

What he means is you didn't use a Ram divider.

1 to 1 is what you are running, DDR will double FSB, but that is usually taken for granted

2.7GHZ is pretty common for 90NM winchesters, you have the 130NM version, 2.6GHZ is a common wall for them, you still have a bit of overhead, time to crank up a little more V core

ya but in the BIOS, it is set to 2:1.... that is the literal setting... thats what i was trying to say
I can set it to 1:1, but that would mean the ram is running at 230 not 460...

anyways, what are good temps, actually i guess what i mean is when should i stop?
Ive been lookin for charts for AMD cpus, but havnt found any... also i know there used to be an online database where peeps post what clocks they got with what settings/hardware/temps/etc does anybody know where i can find something like this?

Push it more and up the voltage I got my amd 64 to 2.6 for a short time but then we got high temps here in Southern Cal so I lowered it to 2.5

hmm thats an awful high temp! for the CPU, is that the norm for a A64? if you could find a way too get a few more fans in there, then you might be able to lower that temp, you could even stick a fan on the outside of the case and have it blowing on the back of the mobo! even if that means having a fan sticking out on the side of your case!
