Great timings at 250FSB, BH-5 numbers without shopping on EBAY!
Did you ever find out what the max FSB is with relaxed timings?
What voltage were you using? what is the have you tested them with? | | | | | |
So far I have only been running them @ 260x10 I was going for the most
mhz with the 2-2-2-5-2 timings. To do this I had to run a beta bios on my UT250GB that allows you to up the vdimm. Then I tweaked the pots on my OCZ
psu to give me up to 3.6 volts on the 3.3 rail. But I have only been running 3.3 volts to the memory to keep her stable at these timings. Over at DFI-Street.com there are a few people running VX with very tight timings at higher HTT. I would if I could, my old
cpu can't handle it (shoddy mem controller). I am not too concerned about going any faster on this UT250GB.
I have some PC4200EL (ocz) to go into my NF4-sli
mobo. I will be running at a min. of 300htt. I have confirmed these speeds on a couple of peoples DFI N4 mobos. One was running a 3200 (939, 90nm) @ 310x8 and another was running his 3500 (939, 90nm) @ 300x9. Both were using the same
ram with the same timings. I have it all in place, I will be assembling the rig very very soon. Just needs to set aside some "alone" time to get down and dirty with the new toys.... BTW, to start out I will be running a 3500 then moving into the FX-55. I wanted to compare the 2 cpus to each other at overclock speeds and performance.
See ya'll soon with some data.
