| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme | FIrst you should get a program that will read your temps such as mbm5 (can google and dl that if you don't already have it). With that pc3200 ram you should be able to hit 200fsb depending on your CPU. I think chile was referring to this link, you should check it out and post again if you have any problems. http://forums.pcapex.com/showthread.php?t=13000 oh and just because you just recently bought the CPU doesn't mean its locked, it all depends on when the CPU was MADE not when a person bought it. If you are able to fiddle with the Multiplier in the bios it is "unlocked" and if it is unlocked you would want to lower the multiplier while increasing your FSB. | |

| You can get a bit more info about when it was made with CBID and breaking down the codes of the OPN number, on AMD 64, it will give you an "Anounce Date" and tell u exactly when it was made http://cbid.amdclub.ru/ ![]() | ||

| Ok Ill try that aswell. Ive come to the conclusion that ocingwiththestock cpu cooler isnt wise and that 55C is too hot so I guessIllstartocing when I get a better cpu cooler. *my cpu is unlocked* Is this good? Ok Ive been told to lower the multiplier and up the fsb, this is what happend when I lowered the multiplier by a half. Firstscreen shot is before the change. Sorry if this is a stupid question. ![]() Last edited by post_break; 27-January-05 at 06:09 PM.. | ||
