Whats a good overclock?

Yo whats up, I want to know whats a good limit to over clock to with out gettin my systems temp too high, i just need a pretty damn good speed to OC to without over doing it with my hard ware, i also need to know how to do it, i already know how to OC but i need the right settings to set my system to...

processor: AMD Athlon XP 2800+
mobo: Asus A7N8X Deluxe
rem: 2x 516mb of Corsair XMS

plz help guys, oh and also is there a way to tweak a graphix card? i got a radeon 9500+ pro.....

Good place to start would be like 10x166 then go to 10x200. Always going up by multiples of one on the FSB. When you get to a point where its not stable in windows then up the vcore a little bit at a time till it becomes stable.

what does 10x 166 mean lol? i know how to oc but its been a while and im not that much of a pro yet. LoL i already oced very little and so i dont want to just touch one thing, cause maybe that could screw everything else? im not sure i just need to know what like over all to screw around with and, what to set what to....

like right now my system is running at 2ghz and is set at 10 x 200 for FSB how can i get this higher cause i know my system can go much higher then just 2ghz

Two mian things, the Multiplier(7.5) and the Front Side But (133) 7.5x133= 997MHz so your computer would be 997Mhz, a higher FSB is better becuase you can get more bandwith, and don't forget to ajust your vcore and multiplier. If your overclocking the ram or chaning the timmings make sure you crank up the voltage on that too.
