ok prolog

3x512 2700ddr
pixelcolor 5600ultra 256
barton 2500+unlocked
gigabyte 7n400 pro2
ht-101
case is airconditioned and the proc runs at about 25c

ok i cant oc very muhc, i can getthe fsb to 200mhz(203 simi unstable) but no higher. thers is no way the proc is over heating.

what shoudl i do with the ram timings? i have read all of the explintaions in the world and dun unerstant them, so dun botherpostign them, bt coudl u explain them?

what is the cpu to agp fbs ratio?

im jsut kinda stuck......

My first guess is that the RAM is holding you back. You need to go to 2 sticks instead of 3 and RAM rated at least 3200 at CAS2. The board you have is a known asskicker when it comes to overclocking, as is your chip.

In the interim, pull one stick of your RAM and run it straight dual channel and see what you get.

ya, im with BA on this one. I had crap ram and I was able to get to 220FSB no probs, but it wasnt ASync. I had to back the ram down so that I could hit it, and had crappy ram timmings but i did it. Until I bought my hyperx that is.

what abotu voltages?confuved with em, sence it is 5 7 10 %, not voltages....

lol ok i bought 2x512 of geil ram. i read that even though it has high latency, it is very nice about changing it.

ok could comeone now explain to me what the latency is in relation to other things, and how to set it to be stable.
