Default Easy board to overclock for a beginner (Socket AM2)

So the board I have now is like really hard to find where to go to OC it in bios. there are no clear controls that I can follow and the user manual is freakin useless. I have a biostar NF4U AM2G(I think) if not it's either a NF4 AM2L or a NF4 AM2G. anyways thanks in advance.

That's because you didn't buy from their T-force series. I had a tforce-6100 and it was great. It was very easy to overclock manually or you could just set it to an automatic 20%OC. I think they're around $60-70 on the Egg. It was a really great board and plenty of other people have had good results with them as well.

Of course Asus has several good boards, Abit's got a really nice one (M2-N2 I think) that supposedly gets really sweet results, and then DFI & Gigabyte. I'm sure there are a few others as well.

yea I don't know a whole lot about boards besides what is compatible with what. I considered a Asus but i heard they had bad northbridge cooling and stuff. anyways my first board I ever bought was a MSI somethin which was pretty straight forward but besides that board which shorted out I've been unlucky or unskilled I guess at finding good boards to OC
