Default heatsink/fan

hello,
a quick question.is the heatsink fan that came with my amd64 3200 venice good enough to put on new amd64 4000 sandiego?if its not will it get me by a few weeks till i get some thing else?(currnetly looking for watercooling kit for watercooling newb).
the reason i ask is the new amd64 4000 i got from newegg was oem so didnt come with hs/fan so i used the 1 from the 3200.some of the games i play like eq2 have gotten xtremely choppy performance.i did not have this problem with the 3200.sos im thinking the 3200 stuff isnt cutting it.all setting are at default levels until i figure out what happening.any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
the stuff i got
abit kn8 sli phx tech bios ver 6.00 pg

2gb dual channel ddr3200

Should be, as those CPU's would (99% sure) come with the same HSF anyway.

I recommend the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro. It offers good performance and is on the quiet side. It is also rather inexpensive ~$19.

Yeah, I used one of those Arctic Cooling Coolers on a build I did for a couple of months ago and it produced surprisingly good temps. Especially for the price. It is a good choice if you want to improve temps over stock without investing a lot of money.
