Not really surprising, but it isn't all bad news. The Phenom is still a decent improvement over K8 and it has a few things that Intel could learn from, such as the Overdrive utility that allows all your BIOS adjustments to be made in Windows. There are some fairly encouraging gaming and media encoding results too.
