I have always been scared to push past 1.5v to get past 3.5ghz but I figure as I'm getting a quad soon enough I may as well push some more out of it.
1.57v and under 50c load, you don't think that could fry it inside a few months?
I personally think it'll be cool. I just want a second opinion. I won't be going higher than 1.6v ...I'm looking for a 24/7 safe clock.
I also get to run 800mhz 1:1 with some really tight timings and see if it does me any favours as opposed to 972mhz 4:5.
EDIT:
Also worth mentioning, it only needs 1.55v, but it's 1.57v set, and 1.55v after droop at full-load.
Just means that when I'm not at full-load it sits at 1.57v then drops to 1.55v on load. Never exceeds 50c.
