On a AMD anything over 667 is overkill.... Even on my machine, i have 800 in it, if i run the
RAM at 800 the system becomes unstable. But when i lower the
ram to 667 i can go all the way to 290fsb before i need to add any voltage. I know that it has been beat to death, but look for some ddr2 with tight timmings vs high bandwidth. if you can get something at CAS3 then you are cooking.
even when i installed 1066 crap in here it would become unstable. i even maxed out the other voltages besides
CPU and
RAM.
ram is at 2.2 and the
CPU changes depending on what i am doing.
