Excellent source site. Those are some nice pumps, however I can't afford to have the 1/4 inlets introducing any resistance into the loop. That parallel method looks sexy, but the issue is for my scenario I think it might be better to do series. Parallel offers higher flow rate, however the problem is since this is going to be a long loop with 2 big radiators and a good 4 or 5 blocks, i think it might benefit better from the increased discharge head.

The Swiftech MCP-350 modded with 1/2 barbs and the L style inlet/outlet fashion yields about 190 GPH per pump, while still maintaining the same low Dcb level.
