In the form of a Nintendo DS Lite. Yep, I did it.
After spending some weeks viewing DS sites, forums, and reading news/game reviews, this little gaming machine grew on me.
And honestly, the biggest reason I got one...the casual game department. Who would have guessed it.
After feeling the waves that the original Brain Age caused and then getting addicted to Picross, I couldn't resist. Yes, my attention span seems to consitently get shorter, so these logic puzzles along with the DS was the perfect combination for quick 10-15 minute games anywhere and anytime I wanted.
Looking at the date, I purchased my Wii exactly 1 month ago. I never would have thought I'd buy a DS in such a short time from when I purchased the Wii. I guess it's been a Nintendo Month for the IronSerif household.
Perfect timing too, because the DS was released in a new color, Cirmson and Black, and was packaged with the ever so addicting Brain Age 2. It even came with a snazy chic-esque case.
Nice little package. I'm talking about the DS package...
As far as the game goes, your brain will definitely be put to work just after a few minutes into it. Just wait till you do the Rock, Paper, Scissors exercise...it actually makes you think.
So now parts of my evenings are spent playing Wii sports, and then training in Brain Age 2. I think my fiance has spent more time on the DS than I have...
What has the Big N done...
