Pentium 641 overclocked to 8320MHz
The SFERA
OC Team of sunny and history-filled Italy doesn't seem to want to give up on torturing (read overclocking) one innocent little Pentium 641
CPU which already broke the 8
GHz mark and even reached 8180
MHz.
On the latest overclocking session the Italian team has managed to make even more magic as, the combination of the Pentium 4, a Gigabyte P35_DQ6 motherboard and some liquid nitrogen has returned a top frequency of
8320 MHz.
As you can see in the picture below the used and abused
CPU had a
FSB of 520
MHz and a clock of 8320
MHz. Not much to say here but congrats to the overclockers. And may they take a few Core CPUs to such heights too.
