Asus, in all their wisdom, didn't provide a southbridge cooling solution on the P5N-E. I guessed it could probably fend for itself, but clearly that's too hot. So has anyone got any recommendations for a good southbridge cooler? I don't want to spend much, and bear in mind that my 8800GTS is just above it so there isn't miles of cooling. Would a northbridge cooler suffice? Or are the mounting holes different?

I was looking at the following:

Zalman ZM-NB47J Northbridge Cooler

I was thinking maybe something along this line for cooling would be better then just a heat sink granted it might be a little over your price range or budget, but i do know that Lokie,Twizted and my self have these, of course i know those guys have been using it, for i have not installed mine let, but i am unsure if it will work on a south bridge have to wait and see if anyone else can confirm that it will work on the south bridge.
I thought i would try and help you out hoping something like this would keep it alot cooler versus just a heat sink.

ps you might also want to look to make sure you have the room for one of these if you our running dual video cards.

You should also be able to get these out in the UK from other stores.

Hope this is something that will help you out.
