from what I've found people using the same board and processor have gotten nearly 320FSB, so I was content to shoot for 300. As for temps, the processor certainly was staying relatively cool since I was able to go 275FSB+ on the stock 1.4 volts. 2.8 on the memory allowed me to boot at 285, but it wasnt stable enough to benchmark. Lowering the multiplier to 8 really didnt allow me to go much further, its seems like I've hit the chipset's
OC limit. I've pretty much given up on it, it was just a fun little project to distract me. I guess 700mhz isnt too bad. Besides I've got c2ds to play with!
