My internet connection speed is around 9mb/s. But that is only when i connect my modem strait to my computer. With my router attached i only get around 3.5mb/s and not getting at all wha ti pay for. My router is just an old linksys router and i was wondering if that is the problem, and what would be a good router if i want to gain all of my internet speed.
On another note though, i was also wondering if it was possible to run my modem directly into my computer and then run another ethernet cable out of my computer into my router to see if i would be able to retain the 9
mb/s. Anyways please comment and any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
