Hey there everyone. I am not so sure if I am in the right forum right now, but since this is the graphics area, I am assuming that it is. If its in the wrong place, please move it for me.
Anyways, some of you may remember back in December when I purchased my Canon Rebel XT. Works great, love it, but now I am starting to have some problems with it.
I noticed that there was a little bit of dirt on the sensor one night by doing a test (take a picture of something white at f/16 and do photoshop autolevels) so I cleaned it according to the instructions; the little squeeze blower thingy to blow out the dust. Not sure of the correct terminology, but it helped out a lot.
Well, tonite I was taking some shots outside in the dark and realized when I brought the pictures onto my
pc that there were a few red dots on it. After several swears at it i opened one up into photoshop and saw that it wasnt just one one picture, its on most of them.
Now, I attached a cropped version of the red dots i see on a white background.
Here is a link to a full picture (not 56k friendly) taken outside of my house in the dark. I circled the dots.
So, ultimately my question is, do you think i have bad photo pickups or do i need to get it cleaned?
Thanks for your help!
PS Long time no visit :-)
