I may be wrong, but can you not alter the voltage certain components of the card gets by editing the BIOS, either downloading a custom one or tweaking it yourself (not avisable to somebody who thought they could voltmod with software...)?
I say I may be wrong because I imagine you do also have to physically alter the card to physically allow more voltage to flow across components, as well as just telling it to do so in the cards BIOS... |
