Yeah see I only made that statement based on the ongoing rivalry between ATI and nVidia. If say in another month or two nVidia comes out with a 8800GTX that is blazing fast and is at a descent price, but Digi here still has his Crossfire setup. Then Digi can sell his 1900XTs and make the switch to SLI and buy two of these 8800 GTXs.
There might be hardware issues, or bugs, but basically I made that statement based on the competition between ATI and nVidia. Each will try to top each other, but at least that Gigabyte board gives you the option of switching between SLI and Crossfire.
