While i dont genrally bitch much or whine or whatever, today someting happen'd that just kinda left a bad taste in my mouth and i felt like rantin' for a minute or three.

I went out this fine mornin' to get my coffee and start out my day. As i walked up to the door two ladies were walkin out , so me bien raised proper by my momma, i held the door for them and as always , waved my arm in jesture for them to pass first. My momma always told me to respect folks and never forget my manners when it came to women. So as the two ladies passed out the door, one of the two gave me a look , that to me said, "thanks for nothin' scumbag" and without even a " Thank you " walked out and down the sidewalk.

I guess my rant as it were is this, just because someone looks a certain way or is dressed a sertian way, does this give us the right to dispense with manners. Now i know what i look like and how i appear to most folks but still, i was taught to say Yes Ma'am, Yes sir, thank ya kindly, and all the other curtious things you say to someone. I just kinda wonder what makes someone forget these things.
