Socket Hold Down Version (AMD Only)

1. Complete steps 2, 3, 4, and 5 above.

2. The block comes with the Socket Hold Down attached. Ensure the springs are completely compressed.

3. Loosen two of the side bolts (one side only) Slide the assembly on over the socket tabs. Tighten the side bolt to lock the assembly onto the tabs.

4. Loosen each brass thumbscrew one turn (on a diagonal pattern). The block will make contact with the CPU. Continue to loosen each thumbscrew on a diagonal until it separates from the aluminum top.

5. Double check (if possible) from the side to ensure the block is making contact with the CPU.

By the way, what motherboard are you using?
