Default PRICE DROP 10 OCT Case, Skin, Aq II WC Kit

Howdy, fellow pimps!

Now that Ol' Blue has been sold, I have more time to work on my new project, the Infantry Tribute Rig... Progress so far can be viewed HERE

NEW PRICE DROPS A/O 10 OCT 04:

ThermalTake Xaser II MT case (Ol' Blue) SOLD TO BTAKI ON PCPER
PolyGFX case skin measured/ordered for OB SOLD TO BTAKI ON PCPER
Aquarius II WC kit (fits comfortably inside) $40 SOLD TO SPECTRUM

What's been done to Ol' Blue:

I've painted the front, sides, and inside with metallic blue flake paint. I did an OK job for a nOOb, but I ordered the case skin to cover the imperfections. Then I drilled some holes into the front of the case (behind the front panel, relax!), into the edge of the mobo tray, along the horizontal support struts, and in strategic spots near the rear fans. All holes were drilled to allow for zip ties to tidy up the rat's nest of PSU/IDE/etc cables that was on the inside, or to hold CCLs in place for lighting. I also cut a 120mm blowhole in the top and installed a relatively quiet (compared to a Delta, that is) 120 to keep OB cool.

What comes with OB:

OB originally came with an Antec SL450 450W PSU, it goes with him...
Tt Hardcano (dunno the model #) fan controller (1)/USB/1394/Temp LCD w/ 2 new batteries
2 80mm Aero fans, alum casing/clear blades, mounted in front cages (came w/ Deep Impact DP102)
Antec 80mm red LED fan mounted in window exhaust, wires sleeved black into 4p molex or blue 80mm LED fan, take your pick.
4 sets optical drive rails (three loose pairs, one mounted on the Hardcano)
3 expansion slot covers (used to have lotta stuff inside, can't find them now)
red and blue Chrome Loomz for sleeving PSU cables/whatever, plus some white (glows nice in UV)

What's wrong with OB:

Paint job is not the best, like I said. That's why I ordered the case skin
The lower frame was dented near the left front foot, so the paint scratched when I put the door back on
Lost the keys to the front panel and side panel locks
Ol' Blue Pics:

PolyGFX American Flag case skin:
http://www.polygfx.com/cgi-bin/displ...t=3&category=5 It's the one on the case at the top right of the page, or lowest row... Only out of the tube roll once, when it arrived. Applicator and instructions included. I ordered it bigger by one inch H x W than I should, and it came even bigger (they send it a little bigger than you order...), so there's plenty of skin, in case you fudge up a little bit. Can burn a CD/DVD (no charge) with their how-to videos that I downloaded. SOLD TO BTAKI ON PCPER, 14 OCT 04

Thermaltake Aquarius II WC kit:
Good little wc kit for those getting started in water cooling. Have all instructions and mounting hardware for A64/P4/AXP. Now that I have a much bigger case, I'm looking at getting bigger parts, like 1/2 tubing, 120mm fans/rads, etc. It was in okish shape when I got it, but I lapped the block with 800/1500/2000 WD, nice and shiny, then AS5'd to CPU. The rad fins were all fudged up, so I took the time to straighten them all out. The Tt fan that came with it died about 2 weeks in, so I replaced it with the 3-speed SmartFan and grill. Works very nicely. No leaks, PLENTY of tubing to fit into the Tt case. Lapped block one more time on 9 OCT 04. SOLD TO SPECTRUM
