Personally, I am interested in experimenting with the stuff as well.... I might try that out before I try that acrylic/polyesther resin I've been dying to get my hands on.

I figured as much on the cutting results. Let us know how you fare with painting it.... might even do a smaller test piece to see how well paint bonds both with and without primer.
