I know that I'm going to be playing it because of the amount of control that a player will have over the game.

You get to design your own hero's costume from over a billion combinations.
You get to chose your hero's powers and you're not limited to a specific type of power from the beginning.
You get to chose who your arch enemy is, how they look, etc.
Ability to solo the entire game, if you wish, rather than some situations being forced to team up with other folks.
