For Activision to go back to WW2 after CoD4 seems to be a double-fault, maybe even a triple-fault on their part, IMO...

Fault #1: MoHA may not have been all that much of a ground-breaker in terms of graphics or gameplay or even storyline, but damn, how long ago did it come out? Seems like the CoD series was getting all bent ove WW2 in Europe, with CoD, CoD:UO, CoD2, and CoD:BRO (sucked that they didn't release BRO for PC). Then they bring the storyline up to modern times, now they want to go back to WW2 and try and top MoHA... took ya long enough?

Fault #2: In keeping with the decade-hopping ideas from Fault #1, I would perhaps suggest that they move on with the concepts of modern warfare and either do something with Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom... There ARE troops from other countries other than the US and UK that are actively involved... GEORGIA!!! UGANDA!!! (sorry, inside joke for my boys back at the COP)

Fault #3: I don't fully get the whole "we just released a game set in modern times, and here's a leak about the next episode", even before the holiday season immediately following said current release. Yes, the SP campaign does seem much shorter than the pervious istallments, an while IMO the graphics and gameplay/storyline do a valiant job of trying to make up for it, it almost sounds like Activision is giving its own product a vote of at least "Not MUCH Confidence"...

...or am I getting crazy from the desert dust?
