I’ve recently just played through the new releases in Valve’s Orange Box. I must say I’m impressed but that’s beside the point. The
Episode 2, the main game for the box (I would say) crosses over with
Portal, the logos of Aperture Science can be seen in a part of the game and anybody with a bit of deductive reasoning will realize that a certain character worked for Aperture Science. I really enjoy little gaming crossovers like that, it seemingly makes their little universe a wee bit bigger. Now, onto my crazy theory for the remainder of the series.
First off, I would like to mention
SPOILER ALERT!

Alright anybody who has finished Portal & Episode 2 should realize: Judith Mossman worked for Aperture Science, this is true because she knows the location of the Borealis, which was holding an Aperture Science crate. Eli Vance was killed by an advisor, which from what I gather, when they eat your brains they learn what you know. So with this it could be assumed that the Advisors now know of the Borealis. So now, I’m going to go out onto a bigger limb, the Portal gun is going to be in Episode 3, 4 or whatever the series ends with. The Portal gun, as it is a piece of Aperture tech, which will be on the “Legendary” Borealis. I might even venture that GLaDOS will be on the ship, as with all the eyes at the end of Portal (Maybe Gordon has to fight her). With the Portal gun on the Borealis, the combine will discover it (Cause they were in the Video feed tracking Mossman), and that’s right, use it to try and create a gateway back to Xen; I can see a part of the game named “Return to Xender” where you destroy the Portal gun, or something else. Destruction will ensue, you’ll destroy the weapon, because that’s what Eli wanted, and then the G-Man will do something crazy yet again. That’s as far as my theory goes, but I would like to note other crossovers between Portal and Episode 2 I really enjoyed. The end song where GLaDOS bashes Black Mesa [Here.] “The Borealis went past normal safeguards in their testing to beat Black Mesa.”, which meets GLaDOS trying to fry you at the end of the game.

That’s all I can remember for now, but are there any gaming crossovers you enjoy?
How about your own crazy Half Life: Episode(s) theories? By the way, the Cake was a Lie.
