Am I concerned - no. Main reason is that I'll keep an older computer that plays the games natively, and have one that is native to vista to go forward with. M$ has been saying for a while that it was going to drop support for legacy programs back X amount of time, if they don't support 16 bit games natively, someone will write/develop an emulator that can handle those 'antiquated' games. Considering the native bloat of vista, using up another 1/2 - 1 gb of memory for an emulator won't be that big of a deal.

Now do I believe that M$ can or will support / address those applications in this version of Windows (per the poll question)? Not really based on their track record. Gamers are a hearty bunch, and there will be clamouring for a way to play older games. Maybe some of our Linux people who work at porting games over will devote some spare brain cycles to make a windows emulator like dosbox that is not just 8-bit compatible, but up to 32-bit compatible.
