Thank heavens somebody did some research that points to something other than Dooooommm for videogames and the role that they play in our society. Hopefully this will get some sort of media attention. Although, i'm not going to hold my breath...after all, this doesn't point to the end of civilization as we know it, so it probably won't get the same sort of press coverage as the negative press about videogames that we've been seeing recently. People seem to love a scapegoat, and as of late, videogames have been the scapegoat that hides the more complex issues of parenting (or the lack thereof) and the challenges facing children who are growing up in today's world.
But, hey, i'm feeling optimistic (probably the meds for my back)...just maybe this study will have a big impact on the negative attention that videogames have been getting lately.
