Ninja Warrior is probably one of the top favorite shows in our household (granted, there aren't many!) And even after watching American Gladiators, it just isn't the same as Ninja warrior. Maybe it's the over-the-top, crazy japanese commentary, or the 60-some year old guy who carries around an octopus - this show just rocks... (The one thing American Gladiators have going for it though, is Crush!)

Last year (I believe?) G4 TV held the first American Ninja Challenge where American Athletes submitted video submissions to have a chance in competing for a spot to go to Japan and take a run at the Ninja Warrior course. That was kinda fun to see, even if the 2 American competitors didn't get past the first stage.

Looks like G4 is offering up the 2nd season/challenge for American Ninja. The cool thing with this is (I just found this out) that you can check out their site and see some of the video submissions...so enjoy!

On a side note, has anyone seen the Ninja Warrior Female competitions? I think they aired them last month or so...not to shabby.
