I was using DivX player but have now installed VLC... Same problem. AVIs are ok, MPEGs crash the system. During the latest crash I managed to see that VLC was using 99% of
CPU resources and a huge amount of memory - The VLC process couldn't be stopped within the process manager.
I have also reinstalled the latest DX9 files ...That didn't help either!
Bah Humbug. Any other ideas?
